sms gateway not working

Hi all. I can't seem to get the sms gateway to work. I am with verizon was trying to test it by sending myself a message. It says invallid number. Any suggestions on what is going on?

How are you typing in the number?

all digits including area code with no spaces or dashes. the way it shows in the example I think.

hm. Just tested it with my phone and cingular, worked fine. Can someone else with verizon test it, see if it's just DHS there, or if it's more than that?

Ok, I tried it. Nothing worked. It said it sent, but nothing came up on my phone.

It used to be number@vtext.net I think. Anyone know or want to find out if that changed?
